Hepatitis A vaccine side effects

Sometimes though an immunization vaccine is important, there may also be some side effects of the vaccine. Like all other immunization vaccinations, Hepatitis A vaccination is also known to cause some side effects.
Most side effects subside as the body gets used to the drugs injected. Additionally the doctor may recommend some ways to reduce the discomfort of these side effects. Some common Hepatitis A vaccine side effects are
Soreness where injected
Pain in the arm and the back
Spotting between two menstrual cycles
Pain the body
Alteration on the amount of bleeding during menses
Modified menstrual cycles
Cough, congestion and dryness in the throat
Headache and hoarseness
Reduced appetite and stamina
Nausea, pain and tenderness
Sore throat, running nose, stuffiness and sneezing
Tenderness and swelling in the neck glands
Swallowing trouble
Changes in the voice
Some uncommon and rare side effects of the Hepatitis A vaccine are
Muscle and joint pains
Diarrhea, stomach cramps and pain
Itchiness and swelling of the glands in the arm pits
Welts and vomiting
Some very very rare Hepatitis A vaccine side effects include
Swallowing and breathing difficulties
Skin rashes and hives
Itchiness in the hands and feet
Swelling of the eyes, face and the nasal interior
Sudden and severe tiredness, fatigue and weakness
Black tar-like stools
Bleeding from the gums
Passing of blood in the urine and /or stools
Irritation and a sense of confusion
Inability to move the arms and legs
Reddening spots on the skin
Seizures and brain damage
Unsteadiness and other muscle problems and loss of co-ordination
Unusual bleeding and bruises
A sudden feeling of numbness in the arms and legs
If an individual suffers from any of the above more severe side effects of the Hepatitis A vaccine, they should consult the doctor immediately. The physician may suggest discontinuation of the other dosages of the vaccination.
